Initial D comes up with an interesting story of an eighteen-year-old boy named Takumi Fujiwara. He makes deliveries of tofu using his father’s Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX (AE86). Just so you guys know, it’s a car. Can you imagine delivering something as small as tofu in a car? Doesn’t the story seem interesting already? Takumi Fujiwara 

Takumi Fujiwara is our main character who makes deliveries of tofu using his father’s classic car. He’s a delivery boy helping his father run a tofu business. He’s super determined as he goes all the way to the mountains to make deliveries. Takumi has great knowledge of things, and he’s a good boy who loves experimenting with things. He also has a curious nature. For instance, he experiments and tries out new techniques on his car whenever it needs fixing.

Koichiro Iketani 

Koichiro Iketani is the captain, or leader, of Akina SpeedStars. He’s also known as Cole in the TokyoPop version. Although he’s not the very best racer yet, he’s the top racer in SpeedStars. Since he’s a leader, Koichiro Iketani can work well under pressure. No matter how intense a race is, he keeps his cool and makes sure to win the race. Everyone respects him for being so smart and a good leader.

Mako Sato 

Mako Sato is also one of the main characters in Initial D. She’s a driver for Impact Blue. Impact Blue consists of Mako and her co-pilot, named Sayuki. She’s the type of person who overthinks about every and as a result, she gets worried. She finds herself worried about so many things at a single time. Even though as a driver she’s quite capable and trustworthy.

Itsuki Takeuchi 

Itsuki Takeuchi is the type of person who’s optimistic all the time. Often the comic relief of the group, he can’t seem to keep his excitement in check.  If you got Itsuki on the quiz, you’re really cheerful and the life of the party. Everyone loves you until you get super duper annoying. 

Ryosuke Takahashi
