The story revolves around Haruhi Fujioka who had always been very good at studying. She managed to get herself enrolled at the very prestigious Ouran Academy. Haruhi is trying to get adjusted to her new school and comes across a music room while looking for a place to study. As she enters the room, she comes across a bunch of very handsome guys that are apparently a part of a Host Club that is super popular amongst the girls of the school.

As she’s dazed by their charm and beauty, Haruhi accidentally breaks a super-expensive vase. Now, paying for the broken vase was something I could not even dream about doing. The Host Club took mercy on her but suggested she join the Host Club and work for it. Haruhi was confused at first but then she realized that she was mistaken for being a guy.

She ends up becoming a member of the club and now all the girls are after her, not knowing her gender. She also has to deal with the strange personalities of her group members. How will she handle all these things while also focusing on studying?

Ouran High School Host Club is a great romantic comedy anime series that features a bunch of characters that are unique in their own way. All the characters are lovable and it’s hard for us to choose a single favorite character. They’re not just there for the sake of being there. All characters contribute a bit to the plot’s progression.

When it comes to the actual plot, there’s nothing complex about it. However, it had some sort of depth despite being simple. The art style of this anime is a bit dated but that shouldn’t be a problem since it came out in 2006. It’s colorful and fresh nonetheless!
