If you’re familiar with the concept of being trapped in a video game then I’m pretty sure you guys know about the “Overlord” series. While most of you might have watched anime like Sword Art Online and others where MC gets stuck in a video game yet you might have missed this sick anime. Let me tell you, unlike many other anime, the MC gets stuck into the video game and has to play the role of an antagonist.
If you’re into action, adventure, and supernatural elements then you would definitely like watching Overlord. It might be an old anime since it was released in 2015. But guess what? It never ended till then, it’s still on-going. Doesn’t that make the fans of Overlord excited out there? I have news for you guys, it’s that the anime Overlord is coming back with its season 4 in 2022. I’ll let you guys know about the exact date down below!

Release Date
So, let’s begin with the most important piece of information which is nothing more than the actual release date. Overlord Season 4 was supposed to come out in July 2020. However, the pandemic slowed it down and eventually it stopped. Now, Overlord is coming back with its season 4 in 2022.
There’s no exact date yet, all we know is that it will be released in 2022. But hey, isn’t that okay? No need to be disappointed. We know it will be coming back in 2022, it can be today, tomorrow. It’s just unpredictable. So, who’s excited for some intense action, amazing cast, and even plot?
On May 8, 2021 the fourth season and an anime film were announced. In December, 2021 the release of this season and the film was announced to be in 2022. So, here we are with an important piece of information. I hope you guys understood. Now, let’s dig into the predicted cast of the Overlord.

Predicted Cast
Overlord Season 4 is coming back with the production staff from Madhouse Studio. The cast is confirmed as well. So, it’s decided that Satoshi Hino will be Momonga/Ainz. He’s the main protagonist and is also known as the Sorcerer King of the Sorcerer Kingdom. He’s the type of MC who is always planning ahead of things and puts care in things before time to avoid any dangerous situations.
Albedo
Is it just me or does she sound super cool while saying, “Overseer of the Floor Guardians Albedo, at your command”
We have Yumi Hera as Albedo. Albedo is the forewoman. She’s a responsible individual who observes the tasks of the Floor Guardians. In fact, she’s in love with Ainz and is shown to be very clingy with him.
Her beauty is unmatched too, she has dark black hair and she also looks like a complete goddess. Albedo has light golden irises and vertical pupils with a cleavage, doesn’t that sound very unique? In fact, she has two horns too. She has black wings protruding from her waist that look rather dark as compared to her angelic appearance.
Albedo and her sister were created by Tabula Smaragdina. She was created for a completely different reason but Momonga changed her personality and made her fall in love with him instead. As the overseer of the Guardians of Floor, she’s quite responsible and observes every step that they take. Here are some facts about her.
- In the Novel series of Overlord, Albedo and her sister are absent
- Her name is a latin word which means “whiteness”
- Her black and white palette was inspired by the Albedo effect where lighter colors are can’t attract heat while the darker colors are capable of trapping heat
- In Overlord’s manga, her armor looks rather sturdy and non-girly
- Out of all Floor Guardians,, Albedo is the only person who has hate towards her creator
- Whenever she sees Ainz, she expresses her love for him
Aura Bella Fiora
Next we have Emiri Kato as Aura Bella Fiora. She’s a dark elf and is the twin of one the Floor Guardians. She’s the older sister of Mare Bello Fiore. Aura is a tomboy-ish girl whose cheerful behaviour makes her look rather girly at times.
Let’s talk a bit about her appearance. She’s a tomboyish girl who looks more like a guy than her brother. She has dark skin and ears like an elf. She has light golden hair and different eye colors. One of her eyes is green while the other one is blue. She wears black leather dragon jacket covered by a white and light golden vest. In fact, she wears gold-plated shoes. Like, how cool is that now? I rarely buy shoes here, lmao.
Unlike her brother, she’s quite confident and straightforward. She completely dominates over her younger brother, Mare. She has a collector’s spirit. Therefore, she wishes to add any kind of new creature into her collection of beasts. We all love to collect different things, right? Our girl here is collecting creatures. WOW! She was created by Bukbukuchagama. In fact, her dominance over her younger brother is a trait taken from her creator. Since, Bukbukuchagama had dominance too.
Mare Bello Fiore
Yumi Uchiyama will be portrayed as Mare Bello Fiore. He’s the younger brother of Aura Bella Fiora. He’s also a dark elf but unlike Aura, he’s quite quiet and shy. He panics easily and gets scared easily too. Mare Bello looks more like a girl than his sister. Isn’t that odd though? She stutters while speaking unlike his sister. You all remember the time he stuttered, “Same…same sixth Floor Guardian Mare Bello Fiore, at your command”. Not gonna lie, it was quite cute. Isn’t that right?
Mare also has dark skin and ears of an elf, he wears a blue dragon scale leather jacket and a full body suit. He wears a short skirt that exposes his thighs and also a necklace that emits silver light. He wears silk gloves that show how slender his hands are. People often mistake him as a girl but that’s a given. He wears girlish dresses and even looks like a girl so it’s obvious that people mistake him as a girl, isn’t that right?
Moving on we have some other characters like Shalltear, Demiurge, Cocytus, Naoyuki Itou, Yukie Sugawara, So-bin, and lastly Satoshi Tasaki.
Predicted Plot of Overlord
The original plot of Overlord revolves around a young man who gets trapped in a video game. In that video game, he becomes a sorcerer king. The fun part is that he has more than enough power to build his very own EMPIRE! If you’ve ever dreamt of building your own empire, you’re going to love watching this anime.
Kugane Maruyama gave the original story along with its illustrations back in 2010. This novel started running in 2015 with a total of 14 volumes. And he said that this story will continue. Therefore, he made this novel into a manga along with Hugin Miyama. Then the anime came out with 13 episodes under Kadokawa Shoten’s Magazine.
Tenth Volume - SEASON 4 (Predicted Plot)
However, for the predicted plot of Season 4 of Overlord, I’ll enlighten you guys. Season 4 will cover volume ten, eleven, and twelve. The title of the tenth volume is “The Ruler of the Conspiracy”. It follows the story of Ainz Ooal Gown and his devotion to make his kingdom a haven for all races. Ainz started working on this goal of his by taking the Empire and strengthening the Adventurer’s Guild.
The Tenth Volume tells us the story of other countries too. The rulers of the other countries are constantly noticing each and every step of Ainz and are planning to fail his plan. The rulers aren’t very happy with the emergence of such a strong kingdom. They will try their best to oppose it and stomp on this kingdom. Will Ainz be able to handle things?
Eleventh Volume - SEASON 4 (Predicted Plot)
The title of the eleventh volume is “The Craftsman of Dwarf”. In this volume, Ainz heads towards the kingdom of the Dwarfs. He has only one mission and that is nothing more than to find the lost rune magic. Shalltear Bloodfallen, and Aura Bella Fiora along with his brother, accompany him on his journey towards the Dwarf Kingdom. As we’ve already talked about who these dark elf are, you’re familiar with Aura and Mare, right?
However, when Ainz gets to the Dwarf Kingdom, he finds out that their kingdom is under the attack of the demi-human race, Quagoa. The Dwarf kingdom is being threatened and is at the verge of getting destroyed. Faced with various challenges and a whole new place, Ainz has to help these helpless dwarfs. The Dwarf Runesmiths promise to help Ainz with his mission. Moreover, the Quogoas are one of the strongest races of the Azerlisia Mountains. Will Ainz be able to help the Dwarf Kingdom?
Twelfth Volume - SEASON 4 (Predicted Plot)
The title of this volume is “The Paladin of the Holy Kingdom”. It features the attack of the Demon Emperor, Jaldabaoth. And ofcourse, one of the strongest races, Quogoas manage to damage the Great Wall of the Holy Kingdom.
The Great Wall was the reason for long-lasting peace in the Holy Kingdom. Now that it’s gone, will there be catastrophe? Jaldabaoth is the commander of the allied forces that are also planning to destroy other kingdoms.
By requesting the Liberation Army, Ainz decides to destroy the Demon Emperor and his army.

Where does Overlord Anime Leave Off in the Manga?
Season three of Overlord dropped with 13 episodes which showed the Magic Caster of Destruction Arc. It’s the third major arc of Overlord anime and covers a total of 9 volumes. For manga, the last chapter released was Chapter 68 which was released back in November 2021. Stay tuned for the 4th season of Overlord. I’m sure all of you are waiting impatiently for it.
