So guys, the main question here is when is season 2 of this fantastic series coming out. I know that all of you are very curious about it like me. So, let’s discuss its release date.
This all starts from 2019 when it was updated that the Season 2 of the series will be released. After that, the curiosity of fans is at the topmost level. And this was even more empowered in 2020 when it was revealed that it will be released in 2021.
After all this 2021 news, another update came up, saying that it will be happening in October. After this announcement, one thing for sure happened, and that is all fans were very happy, including me.
But after a while, all happiness turned into disappointment when Rising Shield Hero Season 2 which was originally scheduled to hit up the screens in October last year, was not released due to some issues which are not currently revealed by the production company. This disheartened the fans as it’s now nearly two years that they were waiting for it.
So let’s get back on our main topic guys, as according to the current situation, the expected release date of season 2 of this legendary series is scheduled to be released in April of this year. However, it is not yet confirmed by the officials but It is the best-expected date till now.
WHAT IS THE RISING OF THE SHIELD HERO
The plot of this series revolves around a boy named Naofumi Iwatani. He was reincarnated into another world as one of the four heroes who are on the quest to save the Kingdom named Melromarc. However, our MC is not being considered as powerful as the others are.
The plot becomes interesting when Naofumi, after all these discouragements, starts his quest to be the most powerful. During his adventurous quest, a girl named Raphtalia is the only person standing with him. The plot follows Naofumi as he has to save his kingdom from evil forces.
PREDICTED CAST
Now, since we have already discussed its release date, it’s time to discuss the cast of season 2. I know that y’all are big lovers of The Rising Shield Hero like me who want to know about the cast of season 2.
The cast of the Season 2 of this legendary series is almost retaining many members of the cast of Season 1. Like, our MC’s voice actor named Kaito Ishikawa who has portrayed the leading role of Naofumi in season 1 is retained in the cast list of season 2. In addition to this, the voices of other important characters will remain the same.

Raphtalia

The voice actress named Rina Hidaka who has been behind the voice of Filo in season 1, is also the one retained in season 2 of the fantastic series.
Ren Amaki
The voice behind Ren Amaki is also returning in season 2. The voice-over artist named Yoshitaka Yamaya is retaining his role as Ren Amaki which he has portrayed well in the previous season.
Motoyasu Kitamaru
Makoto Takahashi who voiced Motoyasu Kitamaru in season 1 is also giving voice to the same character in the next season. Like all other voice artists, Makoto Takashi also gave his best in season 1.
Itsuki Kawasumi
Itsuki Kawasami was voiced by Yoshitaka Yamaya in season 1. Yoshitaka who voiced a major role of Itsuki Kawasaki in the series is now in the cast of season 2 too.

The expected plot of this amazing series’ season 2 will revolve around our main character, Naofumi, who has been on the quest to discover this new world. While in the season finale of the last season, our MC was determined to start his quest to discover this new world as he didn’t think he knew much about it.
On the other hand, it seems that this world is full of secrets filled up in it. This may indicate that there is the presence of other kingdoms too in this mysterious world.
In addition to this, there will be more action in season 2 as the main character continues his journey around the world with his friends. It is also possible that the story continues from the final episode of season 1.
However, despite all of these, you still might have some doubts that it’s not the final plot. Yes, you’re right, but one thing is confirmed here my friends, is that season 2 is going to be more adventurous and amazing than season 1.
