Episode 7 (Blood is Thicker Than Water)

Release Date: January 16th 2022
Episode 7 basically tells us the concept of Blood is thicker than water. How? Well, At first, we get to see the bond of the sister-brother duo, Gyutaro and Daki. On the other hand, we get to see Tanjiro and Nezuko’s bond. That’s why the episode’s title goes by the name of Blood is Thicker Than Water.
Okay guys, this might be the BEST episode of the Demon Slayer. In this episode, we get to see Tanjiro in a head-to-head fight with Daki. While Tanjiro struggles fighting with Daki, Nezuko steps in. Tanjiro was just about to have a breakdown and at that moment, Nezuko comes and we get to see her demonic transformation. She becomes big and gets red flowery tattoos all over her body.
In the first five minutes of the episode, we see Nezuko’s transformation and brutally throwing Daki around. After that, she gets out of control and just when she was about to hurt a human, Tanjiro steps in and stops her by putting his katana in her mouth. Then Tanjiro screams, “Go To Sleep Nezuko”. Daki comes back again with her injured face, panicked by this fact, Tanjro looks for solutions as to how he can make Nezuko fall asleep again. At that moment, Tengen Uzui steps in and asks Tanjiro to sing her a lullaby.

Tanjiro remembers what her mother used to sing, then he starts singing that lullaby to Nezuko which makes her cry alot and she eventually falls asleep instantly. Tengen, after a while, says that he’s not looking for Daki, since she’s too weak and then cuts her neck. Daki with her head in his hands, cries and ends up summoning her brother, Gyutaro. I guess Daki got pretty upset after learning that she’s weak and hearing Tengen say that she’s not an upper rank demon.
At that moment, Gyutaro shows up. Gyutaro was pretty pissed off by the fact that Tengen beheaded his sister. Then Gyutaro appreciates Tengen’s beauty. He says that he likes his skin, and how Tengen has no birthmarks or scars. And how he’s so buff while Gyutaro can’t gain weight and is skinny. Then Gyutaro goes like “you must get a lot of attention from the ladies”. Tengen adds to the fact that he has three wives. It leaves Gyutaro dumbfounded and adds up to his rage.
Daki cries out and complains to his elder brother how everyone has been bullying her since she’s been here like a child. Then the battle begins with Gyutaro sending his blood sickles all around. That’s how the battle begins!
Episode 8 (Gathering)

Release Date: January 23rd 2022
The 8th episode starts off with Tanjiro running and putting Nezuko back into the box so he can fight till the end. Then we see Daki sitting at the top of Gyutaro so that they can make a powerful duo to defeat these guys. Gyutaro notices something about Tengen and says that he’s different from other Hashiras that he has killed so far. Tengen realizes that he’s been ignoring so many people and has let the lives of so many people slip through his fingers.
Gyutaro threatens him with poison. However, Tengen says that he comes from the line of Shinobis and that poison wouldn’t simply work on him. At that moment, Daki says that during the Edo period, Shinobis were wiped out. Then Tengen explains he had NINE BROTHERS! Out of those 9 brothers, 7 had died when he turned 15. Tengen’s father subjected him to brutal training, and the only survivors were him and his brother. His brother and his father had the same mindset. Therefore, Tengen didn’t want to become like him.

Moving on, we see some memories. And then the fight continues! Zenitsu and Inosuke step up in the fight and introduce themselves to Gyutaro. Eventually, Tanjiro shows up to the fight too. We also see Tengen Uzui’s wives helping ordinary people around and Hinatsuru slowly approaching the fight scene. Just when Gyutaro and Daki were showing off the amount of hashiras they’ve devoured, Zenitsu attacks Daki with his thunder attack.
Zenitsu mostly attacks while he’s asleep and then asks Daki to apologize to the girl whose ear she pulled. That’s the moment when we see Daki’s transformation. We see an eye coming out of her forehead. Tanjiro tries his best to lift the sword up and attack Gyutaro however, he fails to since he’s struggling with fatigue. Then when Gyutaro attacks him, he remembers the teachings of his sensei, tries water breathing style and ends up blowing the attack. Tengen and Tanjiro fight Gyutaro, on the other hand, Zenitsu and Inosuke fight Daki. Now we’ll see what happens in the next episode!
Episode 9 (Defeating An Upper Rank Demon)

Release Date: January 30 2022
So, as episode 9 starts, we see Hinatsuru throwing arrows at Gyutaro from the top of the roof. She was basically just observing and wanted to save Lord Tengen. However, she fails since Gyutaro saves himself. Tengen approaches him from nearby and slashes his legs.
Then, we see a throwback when Tengen along with his wives went to the graveyard to visit his family. He pours the drink on the grave. Then Tengen and his wives eat food sitting in the graveyard. There are some really flashy scenes in this episode. We get to see the chemistry between the wives and Tengen’s care towards them.
Then we go back to the present timeline where all of them are fighting an upper rank demon. Tanjiro is trying his best to defeat them but his body won’t listen to him. Tengen always saves Tanjiro from getting hurt. Suddenly, one of Daki’s belts attacks Tengen from behind. Thanks to Hinatsuru shouting, he notices. Gyutaro holds Hinatsuru making sure she doesn’t speak. Tengen gets pissed off but he’s busy fighting Daki. Meanwhile, Tanjiro tries his best to save Hinatsuru. He tries to use Hinokami Kagura but he doesn’t have any stamina.

As the episode proceeds, Tanjiro decides to use Hinokami Kagura along with Water Style Breathing so that he gains some stamina. He doesn’t want to let the teachings of his teacher go to waste. However, in this situation, Tengen again saves the day. Zenitsu and Inosuke step in the fight and try their best to fight as well. And just like that, at the very end, Inosuke gets stabbed and poisoned by Gyutaro and Tanjiro falls off from the roof of the house while saying “Forget about me” and “Sorry, Everyone”.
Episode 10 (Never Give Up)

Release Date: February 6th 2022
Asepisode 10 begins, we see Tanjiro in a snowy place where Nezuko’s present. Nezuko looks big and can talk. She asks him why he’s always apologizing. Nezuko’s also complaining about several things in this scene. After that, Tanjiro’s eyes open in a place full of fire. He looks for Nezuko and when he looks back, she’s safe. However, when his eyes turn at the front, he sees Gyutaro right in front of him.
Everyone is passed out and is laying on the ground, only Tanjiro has gained his consciousness. Gyutaro calls him weak and bullies him. Tanjiro gets suffocated and runs away with the box in which Nezuko’s present. He suddenly gets kicked in his abdomen by Gyutaro. Gyutaro offers him to become a demon too but he suddenly headbutts Gyutaro.
Tanjiro loses his cool and stands up for himself after realizing what Nezuko said to him in that dream. He raises his sword up and beheads Gyutaro. Daki shouts that don’t be beheaded by someone like him. At that moment, Zenitsu stands up and beheads Daki too! Tanjiro tries his best to behead Gyutaro along with his two injured fingers. His sword gets repelled but he doesn’t want to give up.

Finally, Tanjiro and Tengen team up after Tengen wakes up and beheads Gyutaro successfully. On the other hand, Daki gets beheaded by the teamwork of Inosuke and Zenitsu respectively. The heads of these siblings fly around in the sky and fall side-by-side. However, it isn’t over until it is over. Tanjiro seems to be affected badly by the poison. Now, we’ll see what happens next!
Conclusion

Indeed, the sixth episode of Demon Slayer’s third season does not end the series. This blog only offers a brief insight into all episodes of the series from inception to the time of writing this blog, so it’s still pretty subject to being updated once a new episode is aired.
