Ohgi is initially regarded as the commander of a Japanese rebel organization. However, he confesses that leading a resistance organization is not his strong suit and that, having recently taught, he prefers to educate.

Nonetheless, most of his people in the Black Knights need him to be greater in leadership and typically entail supervision. He is strong, but he is oblivious about it.

Ohgi is the sort of guy who doesn’t even know how to quit, he is a modest person, and he can hold his nerves in the heat of the moment. He likes Zero as he thought Zero’s hatred for Britannia came from sorrow (Code Geass R2 Ep 11).

Ohgi sincerely respects the Japanese, particularly his friends, and even for a Britannian, Villetta Nu, who was harmed by Shirley Fenette, shows how much of a good guy he is.

Villetta Nu was the companion of Jeremiah. She was the earliest character that was introduced in the series.

In warfare, Villetta is calmer than Jeremiah. She is not a hereditary noble, but she supports Jeremiah and the Purist Faction in the hopes of winning a genuine title of nobility.

She has the rank of Knight as a Knightmare Pilot, although this title only lasts for one generation. Jeremiah had planned to confer the title of Baroness on her for her children to inherit her aristocratic status.

Following the Black Rebellion, she is elevated to the prestigious rank of Lord. Ohgi sparked Viletta’s interest as well.

She was one of the first that Lelouch used his Geass on, as he commanded her to give him his Knightmare. (Code Geass R1 Ep 1)

20. Gino Weinberg

Gino Weinberg is our “Rich spoiled Kid” of the show. His literal name Gino means “well-born, noble” in Greek. Gino hails from a wealthy family and, as a result, has little understanding of how the real world operates.

He thinks everything works on the principle of money; although he might be right, power and talent don’t come from money.

Gino has strong friendships with Anya Alstreim and Suzaku Kururugi. He has good communication skills, and he can make friends quite easily. However, his relationship with Suzaku appears to be one-sided, as Suzaku seems to be disturbed by Gino’s propensity to make human intimacy with him.

In terms of combat, he is skilled as he is the “Knight of Three.” He is also good in Knightmare Frame combat, and he uses the Tristan Divider as his Knightmare Frame.

19. Euphemia Li Britannia

Euphemia Li Britannia is perhaps the prettiest and kindest character on the show, but that doesn’t mean she is not intelligent.

She has high morals, as she never looks down on anyone and is generally kind towards everyone. Euphemia is very observant and possesses advanced logical and analytical skills, as evidenced by her.

However, she is shown to be a bit on the naïve side, as she gets overly emotional too quickly, which was also why she died.

18. Lloyd Asplundh

Lloyd is a sociopath. Despite his lack of love interest, he devotes himself to research, which appears to be the one thing he has a “heart” for.

While he tends to perceive individuals as changeable and interchangeable components of a machine, it has been demonstrated that Lloyd has more compassion than he professes and is concerned about all of those closest to him.

He is the mastermind of the initial seventh generation Knightmare Frame the Lancelot. The lancelot is a marvel of engineering, making him one of the cleverest scientists in the whole code Geass universe.

17. Marianne vi Britannia

Marianne vi Britannia was the mother of Lelouch vi Britannia and Nunnally vi Britannia.

“Marianne the Flash”, that is what she is called due to possessing tremendous skill to pilot a Knightmare Frame at a very high speed.

Marianne has exceptional piloting abilities, as she found her way around on of the most initial Knightmare Frame, also that on a relatively high speed.

She was able to operate a far more sophisticated Knightmare Frame with thick armor, and uses sheer strength to completely annihilate an opponents’ Knightmare Frames even after quite some time.

In addition to her high speed, she also has the ability to use her Quad barrel Cannons called “Stark Hadron Cannon” which allows her to centralize all of the barrel power into a single hit and control it shoot at her enemies.

16. Kyoshiro Tohdoh

Kyoshiro Tohdoh is the former master of Suzaku Kururugi. Tohdoh is a brilliant commander and leader, as seen by his service in the Japan Liberation Front and the Black Knights, where he turned practically impossible situations into victories.

One such instance was the miracle of Itsukushima, in which he successfully drove back Britannian forces without the deployment of a single Knightmare.

With a Knightmare, though, he is very talented and can compete with Suzaku Kururugi and other technically gifted pilots like Guilford and Xingke. It is further demonstrated by the Black Knights’ evaluation, which gives Tohdoh a score of 100 out of 100 for his combat ability.

15. Jeremiah Gottwald

Jeremiah Gottwald is an exceptional Knightmare Frame pilot who is highly concerned with preserving Purist dominance within Britannian culture. He is slightly arrogant and driven to achieve his goals, both of which cause him to be hasty and impetuous in warfare.

He is easily one of the weirdest characters of the show, and watching our orange boy change sides gives the show some major plot twist.

Jeremiah was given a unique anti-Geass power called “Geass Canceler” with Code-R staff and V.V. (As seen throughout Season 2 of Code Geass).

It is located in his left eye, which is typically concealed by his orange-goldish mask and provides him the ability to nullify the impact of any other Geass within his sphere of control.

His abilities with a Knightmare are such that he can battle against very powerful Knightmares like the Siegfried in a considerably lesser Sutherland and avoid its assaults that other, more formidable Knightmares cannot.

14.Luciano Bradley

Luciano Bradley, the Knight often, is also known as “Vampire of Britannia.” Bradley blasted many of the Black Knights’ nightmares and attempted to destroy the Da Longden by dumping a damaged Britannian flagship into it during the Kagoshima Settlement Battle. Xingke, on the other hand, intercepted it.

He is an aggressive and combative guy who enjoyed agitating people and assaulting without provocation, to the point where several of the other Knights of the Round, including Suzaku, hated him.

He has no concern for the lives he kills, whether friends or foes, as long as he can wreak havoc. In reality, he engages in conflicts and wars because he likes murdering others, even if it means sacrificing his comrades

13. Kallen Kozuki

Kallen Kozuki might appear as an irritated, angry redhead girl at first but don’t judge a book by its cover! She is actually among the most competent characters in Code Geass.

She is a compelling, driven, devoted, and fearless person, but she can be short-tempered sometimes. Despite all the cold and robust demeanor she tries to put on the surface, she is a caring, sympathetic, and gentle person inside.

She is also one of the best Knightmare Frame pilots you’ll see in the anime.

Kallen is an absolute beast when it comes to the battlefield. She is an overpowered strategist, and she has this keen sense of figuring out what move her opponents will make, and she uses this to her advantage.

AND on top of that, she aces all her exams at school. I mean, how it’s unfair that she is that close to perfection.

12. Akito Hyuga

Akito Hyuga might not be the most robust character in Code Geass. Still, he’s exceptionally clever, as shown by his assistance to Leila in preparing for the upcoming battle. And his use of the Geass command, which was given to him by his brother, to aid him in the fight.

One of the reasons he has survived all of his suicide missions is his tactical understanding paired with his combat skills.

He can also be highly cunning when it comes to resolving a disagreement without resorting to violence. For someone his age, he is pretty mature, he really is a child prodigy when it comes to mind games. So, it’s better not to argue with him heads on, as he will not only verbally destroy a guy but won’t hesitate to spill some blood for his entertainment.

But one thing that comes along with being intelligent is the sad and gloomy side of life; he is an introverted person who doesn’t like having any company. His actual nickname is “Ghost of Hannibal,” which fits his brother’s twisted mental state and bloodlust.

11. Anya Alstreim

Anya comes to seem stern, bland, and disinterested, much like someone suffering from despair. In most settings, Anya retains a distant demeanor, judging most things to be uninteresting or dull. She significantly reflects something tortious or shallow that had happened in the past.

She is a lethal and thoroughly skilled pilot on the battleground who shows no pity to her adversaries. She is “The Knight of Six.” Her combat style mirrors her massively armored Knightmare; she eviscerates her adversaries with tremendous power and will not hesitate to murder the helpless enemy.

Anya is also quite protective of Nunnally, having served as her Knight before Suzaku. She was seen protecting and carrying her away from the stage during the scheduled banishment of Zero, worrying for her protection, without remorse.

Despite her stern demeanor and brutality in combat, Anya has been kind and loving towards her companions, especially Suzaku and Nunally.

10. Bismarck Waldstein

Bismarck Waldstein is one of the most op characters in the entire series. He is called “the Strongest Knight”. Bismarck has excellent swordsmanship skills, evident during his defensive role in Suzaku’s attempted assassination.

He used the Knightmare Frame Galahad, which not many knights can operate. He is equally vital in Knightmare frame combat.

The one thing that gives him the edge over everyone is that he possesses a Geass that can see the immediate future, which does help in a close combat situation. His Geass reduces the time lag between eye and brain coordination, thus allowing Bismarck to skip the time lag and see the immediate future.

9.Cornelia Li Britannia

“Goddesses of Victory” was her nickname, as no one was quite able to match her ability on the battlefield. She is a veteran in Knightmare Frame warfare.

On the surface, she appears as a pure evil descendant and a cold-blooded and harsh woman, one who would not even regret killing a person who opposes her views. She is adamantly opposed to change, yet she cares about the welfare of her men, particularly her Knight, Guilford.

Never disagree with her if you ever come across her, as she wouldn’t hold anything back to beat your ass up.

8. Li Xingke

Li Xingke is perhaps one of the strongest characters in Code Geass. He is a tough guy, one who doesn’t care how many people die if he wins, that’s the only thing that matters. He has a deep understanding of devotion to his country, but his devotion is a bit twisted.

Li Xingke has an exceptional talent when it comes to close hand combats, as it was evident in Counterattack at Gallows (Code Geass Season 2 Ep 4), he’s so good that he kills a guy with his sword, and the surprising part of that kill would be his speed.

His opponent wouldn’t even notice when he drew his sword. I mean, he’s that good when it comes to physical combat.

He is also a competent Knightmare Frame pilot, capable of piloting the mentally strenuous Shenhua Knightmare Frame, which nobody else has been capable of controlling correctly.

7. Suzaku Kururugi

Suzaku Kururugi is our average “You can’t take the law into your hands” type of person when the series starts. However, as the series progresses, it is shown that he had a dark past, and due to moral issues, he took his father’s life with his own hands.

His personality drastically changed when Lelouch (code name: Zero) accidentally killed the love of his life Euphemia Vi Britannia (Code Geass Season 1, Ep 22-24). He felt lost afterward, lost the purpose of his life, and went down the dark valley of violence and vengeance.

Suzaku Kururugi doesn’t possess any Geass, but that doesn’t make him weaker. He has excellent physical strength. He has perfect hand-eye coordination. The one thing that separates him from Knightmare Frame Pilots is that he fights according to his instincts.

It’s safe to say he fights according to his heart, not his brain. He was the one who killed Lelouch at the end to take his revenge on Euphemia (Code Geass Season 2, Ep 25).

6. Schneizel El Britannia

Schneizel is a ruthless and cynical tactician who is willing to risk lives without hesitation to achieve his goals. Yet, he is highly charming and compassionate for his subordinates, making him one of the most intriguing characters on the show.

Schneizel, like Lelouch, is a formidable opponent. His most potent weapon is his gigantic mind, which possesses genius-level intelligence. Schneizel is capable of designing and implementing plans at breakneck speed.

He is also the only person Lelouch has yet to defeat in chess. Schneizel has a lot of charm as well. He has used well-spoken speeches and deceit to influence people and factions.

5. Rolo Haliburton

Rolo is also a skilled assassin raised as one since he was a youngster. He is well-versed in guns and other weaponry. He is also a superb pilot, using his Vincent Knightmare Frame with his Geass to confuse and frighten opponents.

Rolo Haliburton was very kind when he appeared in the second season (Code Geass Season 2 Ep 1). However, as Lelouch regained his memories, he revealed his true nature, which was nothing more than a cold-blooded person who had been isolated all his life.

However, as the series progresses, he becomes attached to Lelouch and considers him a brother. He is very possessive of him as he plans to murder Nunally to be Lelouch’s only sibling. Rolo doesn’t care about how many people he kills. As long as his mission is fulfilled, he’ll keep on killing. Rolo felt nothing when he killed Shirley (Code Geass Season 2 Episode 13 Assassin from the Past).

Rolo’s Geass is regarded as the “Ward of Absolute Suspension,” which is the power to freeze anybody within a specific range’s perceptual perception of time. Those who are affected by it are encased in ice for the length of its deployment.

The drawback of Rolo’s Geass is that it causes his heart to stop when he uses it, restricting its use to brief bursts. The range also indicates how much tension he is under. Finally, it can only halt sentient beings like people and, potentially, animals, but not inanimate objects or physical phenomena like speed and momentum.

4. V.V.

V.V. was an eternal kid with golden hair that reached the length of his body. As a result of his Code of Immortality, V.V. is ageless and immortal. V.V., like C.C., is fully eternal, unable to die, age, become ill, or be permanently wounded.

He is entirely autonomous, and his intellect and soul are as everlasting as his biological body.

However, his immortality was taken away by his brother Charles Di Britannia, but he was not so bothered by it. He is one of the main antagonists of the show.

V.V. was the only one who could compete with Lelouch in a chess game (Code Geass Season 2 Ep 9). He is equally a strong fighter when it comes to the battlefield.

3. Charles Zi Britannia

Charles is a ruthless and intellectual guy who passionately believes in social Darwinism, which maintains that only the strongest deserve to rise in society.

Charles has the Code of immortality, he obtained it after taking it from his brother, which resulted in V.V losing his Geass, but it was nothing to him and he didn’t care about it. His life and spirit were devoid of even the notion of existence, freeing him from life and death concerns.

His last encounter with Lelouch was an absolute treat to watch. Although Lelouch defeated him eventually, Charles gave him a tough time (Code Geass R2 ep 20).

2. C.C.

Intelligence Close Quarters Combat Knightmare Combat Geass Power Level

C.C. is an “immortal witch,” incapable of aging or being slain by normal means. She has been fatally shot several times, crushed by water pressure, burnt at stake, guillotined, put in an iron maiden, and pierced with spears, all of which she has recovered from (Code Geass R1 Ep1).

C.C. can bestow the power of Geass on individuals, which manifests differently in each person but has the potential to alter the minds of those it is used on in some way.

When she uses this power, the Geass symbol flashes on her forehead, and she bears a matching scar on her left breast. This scar corresponds to the wound she sustained when attacked by the nun who handed her the Code.

On top of that, SHE IS INSANELY ADORABLE AS WELL! She is the one who gave Lelouch his Geass, and what made him invincible was the sheer power offered by her. She is one of the strongest characters in the whole series.

1. Lelouch Vi Britannia

Lelouch is the main protagonist of the show. He is one gem of a character, probably one of the greatest ever created.

Lelouch is a fierce and systematic fighter in combat. He is prepared to sacrifice both citizens and troops if it means achieving his goal. On the other hand, he felt some regret after killing his cousin, Euphemia (Code Geass R1 Ep 22).

Despite his frigid, manipulative attitude and brutality in combat, he may be a kind friend and loved one. Even though the two are adversaries, he is a caring brother to Nunnally and a faithful ally to Suzaku. Because of his aristocratic background, Lelouch is a brilliant guy who is also serene, refined, and arrogant.

Lelouch behaves like a friendly, charming, and generally laidback student at school. However, this is only a mask used to conceal his actual character. His primary character is revealed when he is Zero.

Lelouch is noted for his austere demeanor. Many troops and commanders believe and admire him because of his charm and conviction in fairness. He was uninterested in education, considering it frivolous, although his superior intellect would simplify it.

Lelouch is quite famous with women because of his stunning looks and charisma. C.C. bestows Lelouch’s Geass, granting him “The Power of Absolute Obedience,” permitting him to plant orders into a person’s mind upon body language like brainwashing (Code Geass R1 Episode 1).
